SmileInspector API Overview
Connect SmileInspector to your systems, workflows, and partner environments. SmileInspector APIs help partners work with case data, user and account management, configuration delivery, and access-related processes across connected systems.
Case Management API
The Case Management API allows partners to create, retrieve, update, and manage SmileInspector cases and related workflow data. It also supports case status changes, approvals, comments, history tracking, locking, revisions, and file operations within a case.
User Management API
The User Management API allows partners to retrieve and manage users, accounts, roles, groups, and effective permissions in SmileInspector. It supports account-level user administration and access control workflows across connected systems.
Configuration API
The Configuration API allows partners to retrieve SmileInspector configuration files at the user, account, or resolved effective level. It helps integrations access the correct configuration version and download the corresponding file for use in connected workflows.
Account Access & Invitation API
The Account Access & Invitation API allows partners to manage account invitations, retrieve account keys, and configure external identity provider connections for SmileInspector. It supports user onboarding and single sign-on integration at the account level.
Patient Viewer API
The Patient Viewer File Access API allows partners to upload and download case-related files through the SmileInspector patient viewer workflow. It supports secure file transfer using temporary URLs and returns a public token after upload completion.
Public Token API
The Token & Access Key API allows partners to create, retrieve, and revoke account access keys and case-level public tokens in SmileInspector. It supports controlled access to specific account or case resources, including permission-scoped token workflows.
