Yes. Every aligner case includes two refinements at no extra credits. A refinement is opened as its own case linked to the one it follows, with the patient and doctor details carried across, and it is planned from new intraoral scans through the normal workflow. Refinements apply to aligner cases only, and a refinement case cannot itself be refined. Retainer and night guard cases are single-model exports and do not use refinements.

Yes. SmileInspector is scanner-agnostic — bring in intraoral scans and CBCT data from the equipment you already use. Every case exports production-ready STL files, and retainer and night guard cases include direct-printable models, so they drop into the 3D printer or thermoforming workflow you already run.
