What is the pricing for SmileInspector?
We offer two ways to pay: Pay-as-you-go in credits (1 credit = $1 — an aligner case is 30 credits, a retainer 2, a night guard 6), or a monthly Subscription that bundles credits at a discount (Practice 10, Pro 15, Scale 30 — up to 15% cheaper than pay-as-you-go). For higher volume, Enterprise adds custom credit volume, volume-based discounts, dedicated support, and custom terms. Book a demo and we’ll recommend the best fit for your workflow.
Can I use SmileInspector with my existing scanners and printers?
Absolutely. SmileInspector is compatible with standard STL files and works with any intraoral or desktop scanner that exports in this format. You can also use the exported files with any in-house 3D printer or send them to your preferred manufacturing partner.
Does SmileInspector support CBCT data?
Yes. You can upload CBCT scans and visualize bone structure directly in the planning interface. This allows for anatomically guided tooth placement and risk assessment before staging.
Can we collaborate with clinics or supervisors?
Yes. With the SmileInspector Portal, you can securely share cases with supervisors, partner clinics, or team members. The portal includes access controls, version tracking, and approval workflows—no more emailing ZIP files back and forth.
How long does it take to finalize a case?
On average, labs finalize a complete treatment plan in under 30 minutes using smart presets and intuitive staging tools.
Is SmileInspector cloud-based or installed locally?
SmileInspector is cloud-based. You access it in a browser—no local installation required. If your organization has specific IT or compliance requirements, contact us and we’ll review available deployment and security options.
