Do you compete with our clinics?
Never. We offer treatment planning as a service only to practices that come to us for it, and we never approach or plan for the clinics you serve. Your client relationships stay yours, and we never use your data to plan for anyone else.
What exactly does Auto Prep do?
It runs the model preparation that comes before planning: occlusal facial setup, articulation, segmentation, and matching. One click, under a minute, and the result is a model ready for final-position planning. You can reopen and adjust any of these steps at any time.
Do you have manual tools?
Yes. First and foremost, SmileInspector gives your technician the full manual toolset. The AI final position proposal only speeds things up. Staging is a set of strategies your technician applies, and every movement, attachment and IPR stays in your technician's hands.
Does the AI take over the planning?
No. The AI proposes the final position to save time. Your technician reviews it, changes any movement, and approves every case.
Which scanners and file formats do you support?
SmileInspector is scanner-agnostic. Upload intraoral scans as STL, PLY, or other common formats, and Auto Prep takes it from there.
How does the doctor approve a plan?
You share the case through the Case Portal. The doctor opens it in the Doctor Viewer, reviews the plan, edits the final position, attachments and IPR where needed, and approves it. You invite the doctor to your organization as a doctor; they need no SmileInspector subscription and pay no fees. Doctor Viewer
We use an ERP system. Can you integrate with it?
Yes. Clients running a high volume of cases connect SmileInspector to their ERP and other systems through our documented API. API
We only do the planning. Does it still fit?
Yes. The finished plan is the deliverable, with production-ready models to hand off. Production itself happens wherever it happens today.
How secure is our data?
Your cases are stored securely in the cloud and transferred over encrypted connections. Access is limited to your team and the doctors you share a case with. And the data stays yours: we never use it to plan for anyone else.
